Terms and Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all classes, bookings, and services provided by The Olive Tree, operated by a sole trader based in Jersey, Channel Islands. By booking a class, you agree to the following terms.
1. One-Off Class Bookings
1.1 Booking windows
• Bookings may be made up to a maximum of 120 days in advance.
• Classes are released in blocks (for example, in 5-week cycles), so the full 120-day window may not always be visible or available to book at any one time.
• Bookings must be made at least 1 hour before the class start time.
1.2 Cancellations & rescheduling
• You may cancel or reschedule a booking up to 12 hours before the class start time.
• Cancellations or changes made with 12 hours’ notice or less are non-refundable.
1.3 No shows
• If you do not attend a class without cancelling (“no show”), the class is non-refundable.
1.4 Late arrivals
· Classes begin promptly at the scheduled start time.
· Clients must arrive a minimum of 5 minutes before the class start time to set up and be ready.
· We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the class start time to allow for settling in and preparing safely.
· For safety and to avoid disruption, late entry is not permitted once the class has started, and the class will not be refunded.
1.5 Payment
• Payment is taken at the point of booking through PayPal via the website booking form.
• Cash is not accepted, as the booking system is automated and requires online payment.
1.6 Waitlist
• There is no waitlist.
• All classes are released in advance and operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Class Bundles
2.1 10-Class Bundle
• Valid for 90 days from the purchase date.
• Includes 600 minutes (10 × 60-minute classes).
• Can be used for any combination of 1-hour classes.
2.2 20-Class Bundle
• Valid for 140 days from the purchase date.
• Includes 1200 minutes (20 × 60-minute classes).
• Can be used for any combination of 1-hour classes.
2.3 Bundle cancellations & reinstating time
• If The Olive Tree cancels a class you booked using a bundle, the time will be added back to your account.
• Reinstated time must be used within the original validity period of your package.
3. Class Cancellations by The Olive Tree
If a class must be cancelled due to instructor illness, venue issues, or unforeseen circumstances:
• You may reschedule into another class within 4 weeks of the original date, or
• Receive a full refund for one-off bookings.
For bundle users, class minutes will be credited back as outlined in Section 2.3.
4. Instructor Cover
• While Indigo aims to teach all classes personally, a suitably qualified cover instructor may teach the class when necessary. This does not affect your booking or refund rights.
5. Equipment
• Clients must bring their own yoga mat and any additional equipment they wish to use.
• If a client damages or breaks their own equipment during class, The Olive Tree is not liable to repair or replace it.
6. Personal Responsibility & Safety
Yoga is a personal practice, and each client is responsible for working within their own abilities.
Clients agree that:
• They will listen to their body and move mindfully.
• They are aware of their own physical limitations.
• They will make sensible modifications as needed.
• If an injury or limitation requires an adaptation, they must inform the instructor before class.
• By booking, the client confirms they are fit to participate in yoga and have consulted a medical professional if needed.
7. Physical Adjustments
• Clients will be asked whether they consent to physical adjustments.
• If a client prefers verbal cues only, this will be respected fully.
• Clients may change their preference at any time.
8. Behaviour
• The Olive Tree reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who behaves inappropriately, disrupts the class, or poses a safety risk.
9. Venue Rules & Personal Belongings
• Clients must follow all venue rules and respect the shared space.
• The Olive Tree is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings at the venue.
• The Olive Tree is not responsible for issues arising from the venue environment (e.g., temperature, noise, building conditions).
10. Age Requirement
• Classes are for adults aged 18 and over unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11. Refund Policy
• Refunds are offered only in the specific situations described in these Terms.
• No other refunds are offered outside of these conditions.
12. Essential Communications
• By booking a class, the client agrees to receive essential service emails related to their booking (e.g., confirmations, changes, cancellations).
13. Liability
By attending a class, the client acknowledges that:
• Yoga involves physical movement that may carry risks.
• They participate voluntarily and accept responsibility for their own practice.
• The Olive Tree is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except where legally required.
